Orçun Turan’s practice mainly concentrates on banking and finance law, mergers and acquisitions and capital markets law.

Orçun represents both lenders and borrowers in a variety of energy, infrastructure, and acquisition financing transactions. In this context, he has drafted and negotiated loan agreements and security documents as well as other financing documentation and has played an active role in the successful closing of the financing projects in which he has been involved.

Orçun represents both buyers and sellers in share acquisition transactions involving both publicly traded and privately held companies. He has drafted and negotiated share purchase agreements, shareholders’ agreements and other transaction documents, he has taken part in legal due diligence and reporting processes, and has played and active role the successful completion of the acquisition transactions he has been involved in.

Orçun represents both issuers and underwriters in a variety of initial and secondary public offerings and capital markets instruments issuances. In this context, he has drafted and negotiated transaction documents, he has taken part in legal due diligence and reporting processes, and played a key role in the completion of the related transactions.

Orçun also provides legal consultancy to companies from various industries in connection with their day-to-day operations and management processes, and has substantial experience in corporate advisory matters. In this regard, he has drafted and negotiated a broad range of commercial agreements, including dealership, distributorship, franchise, supply, service, purchase, sale, rental, logistics, license, and confidentiality agreements and he has advised clients on regulatory compliance, real estate law, intellectual and industrial property law, international sanctions law, commercial law, and corporate law.
